Over 26 years ago I stepped inside an industrial unit that a friend of mine had told me had some amazing HUGE fish inside. It’s fair to say that the second my future wife and I set foot through the door, we would be Koi keepers for life
That day was a Sunday, the year was 1996, the place was Infiltration. Fast forward to the present and I have more than 26 years keeping koi under my belt.
A young man I met that day, I’m proud to still call a friend, (he calls me much worse), Tim Waddington, the son of the proprietor of Infiltration, the late Peter Waddington.
As well as keeping Koi for the last 26 years I had to earn a living. I studied chemistry to degree level and worked in R&D in a chemical based field. This has stood me in good stead for keeping water, in which my Koi can thrive.
